The Oscars 2013

The 85th Academy Awards Red Carpet 

This years red carpet look was all sparkles and satin, with so many incredibly beautiful gowns it was hard to just choose these few to show you. But I think these are some of the best, and one or two of the worst, maybe?

Halle Berry in Versace



Brandi Glanville (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) apparently designed this gown herself! At least she won't have to fire the designer for this hideous dress, Brandi gets my award for worst dressed on the red carpet this year.


And let's finish our look at the Oscar Red carpet with the cutest looking girl there...

From the perfection of Charlize Theron in her Dior couture, and Adele flying the flag with her 15 kilo Jenny Packham, to the rather unbecoming Versace chosen by the beautiful Halle Berry, and the dreadful, self designed, barely nipple covering monstrosity that Brandi Galnville, (who? exactly) wore, I hope you enjoyed checking out the gowns I chose for this blog.


Which is your favourite? And I doubt I need to ask, but which did you think was the worst gown - out of the ones above? I would love to hear your thoughts.

    Well my dear you are right on the money...brandish what. The hell ..I ...know your husband left youbut that is not the "I'm doing just fine" look that's the "I'm desperate look at me" look..Omg...I don't care for halle's dress either, and Kristen have you ever heard of a hair brush. Plus the dress could use some altering so it fits better and quvenzhane is ADORABLE times 10...anyways great post ..iwould love to follow each other...following you now...folks please :)

    Brandi Glanville - OMG! What was she thinking? It looks like her dress is painfully glued to her breasts haha. How could no one have told her she looked a hot mess?

    I loved Jennifer Lawrence and Kerry Washington's dresses, otherwise I thought the others were fugly or just blah. Surprising!

      I know! Brandi must have been the worst dressed EVER! And apparently she designed it herself, to show her ex what he is missing apparently, pffft probably sees he did the right thing after that showing, just gross and very slapperish lol My fav I think was charlise, plain and beautiful x

    Charlize and Anne Hathaway&Reese, I like the best. And all though impressive,I don't really like Adele's gown, she could have done more with her voluptuous body I think;-)

      I think Adele does look lovely but that dress makes her stomach look huge, I would expect more form a dress that cost thousands of dollars. x

    OMG let's start with the bad dresses, the realhousewive's one,Robin Robert's and Sally Field. The first one is down-right ugly, the last two just aren't my taste and might look better on someone else though they're not necessarily ugly. I'm completely in love with Jeniffer Lawrence's, Amy Adams', Charlize Theron's, Reese's and Kerry Washington's. Ugh completely gorgeous, and they wear it well!

      You wonder how, with make up and hair artists, and a dress that costs more than a family car they manage to look anything less than perfect, but so many of them do. That last one I think is awful, how she kept her boobs in it i will never know, maybe she was hoping for a wardrobe malfunction and the resulting publicity? Thank you for comming by. x

    I must say Kelly Osbourne's dress has to be my favourite; I think for worst dressed it has to be a tie between Brandi Glanville's dress and Kristen Stewarts. I don't like Halle's either.

      I think Jennifer's dress looks like there is too much fabric in the bottom half and a little too long, but she did look beautiful. Adele is very pretty and looked amazing except i felt the dress made her look like she is pregnant again, maybe the style or maybe she refused to wear her spanx lol

      I think it there had been less material in the bottom half it would have looked a lot better, but I agree compared to her choices in the past this dress was a bit frumpy. x
