There isn't any gift that can express how much we love and appreciate our Mother's, but I chose lovely things which are mostly discounted, not because our Mother's don't deserve full price gifts but so you can get more for your money and therefore treat Mum to something even nicer. I am lucky enough to still have my Mum and I am grateful every day for that fact. I hope all the Mother's out there  have a wonderful Mother's day, whether you spend it with your children, your Mother, or someone who you love like your Mother.

    Like you i feel lucky to have my mum and i treat her with little gifts every now and then anyway as she lives on the mainland and im in NI, but mothers day she always get uber treats,
    these are brilliant buys, and youre right -its all about being able to get more for your mum!!

    all nice ideas. but sadly being broke you cant buy your mom anything. but you can make a card that comes from the heart. and i put a special thing on it that makes even more special to her. :D

      I know how you feel I am so broke, I will probably just get her a plant for her garden, she loves her garden and I will make sure I can get her that as they are very cheap. As a mother I know it isn't about how much money a gift costs but the love that goes into it, like a home made card, your mum will love that I am sure x

    This is a great blog post! Im not entirely sure what to get my Mum yet, she's very difficult to buy for as she has everything she wants and has several allergies (including black dye in hairdye, clothes, shoes, etc, all parabens so trying new beauty products can be risky, as its not just parabens, its several things, etc). I did get a Groupon for a pair of garden tree/shrubs which I think will look really nice in her garden, but I did a similar thing last year and it didnt arrive in time so I will need a backup plan! I've enjoyed getting some inspiration from your post, I think I better hit the (online) shops!

      Aww thank you Loz. My mum loves gardening and I often get her plants, as she says, by her age, 82, she has everything she wants so plants are always a safe bet for her. Online shopping is the best, quite often there is much more choice and even better special offers and sales, plus for me walking too much is neigh on impossible so i let my fingers do the walking, as the yellow pages used to say lol x
