Bargain outfit!

This kind of post will probably be a regular thing for me as I love finding gorgeous, good quality, clothes for a real bargain price.

Both of the items in this post came from www.kaleidoscope.co.uk.

 I may be 52 but I like to look modern and not frumpy, especially when I go out, which isn't too often these days sadly. I think you need to know someone's height and size to get a good idea of how you might look in the same thing, so here are my vital statistics...I am 5' 8" and wear a size 16 (UK) 12(US) top, huge 38E boobs sadly, and wear a size 14 (UK) 10 (US) in jeans. Saying that, often to get clothes to look the way I want I will buy larger sizes, rarely smaller, as nothing looks worse than someone squeezed into a size too small, especially if, like me, they have wobbly bits! If I could give every woman one piece of advice it would be, forget about what size you think you are buy the size that fits and flatters. No one but you will know what the label says, and by going up a size in a particular brand, you are not saying you have put weight on, it just means you want to look good in what you wear.


Kaleidoscope leopard print skirt

So here are my latest bargains. The skirt cost me £10.80, reduced from £35, I used an offer they emailed me for 20% off which took the price down from £12. The t shirt cost me £7 down from around £27 I believe. Sorry I can't find the link for it just now to give an exact price. Therefore this outfit cost me £17! I will get lots of wear out of the t-shirt as I love the whole rock chic vibe of it. I will wear it with jeans and boots and pull it in with a belt. I will try and get someone to take a photo of me in it later and post that so you can see it on and decide if it's flattering or not, as on the hangers they look big and baggy, rather than flattering. As I said above I will buy any size that I think will flatter me, so I bought a size 16 in the skirt as animal print can look very slutty if it's too tight, and at my age slutty is certainly not the look I am going for.

    Great pieces - and at such a bargain price! I want to see them on you! I agree that buying what fits and not going by size that you "want" to say you wear is the only way to dress! Who cares if it's a size 6 or a size 12 if it is what looks right? We come in all shapes and sizes!

      I will definitely try to get some pics when i wear this outfit, and post them here. I have clothes in every size from a 12 to a 16 an d medium to extra large, as long as it fits me nicely I don't care about he number on the label xx

    Great advice about the sizes too. If the sizes bother me I just cut them out lol! Then nobody can EVER know! lol.

    And snap with the bra size - big boobies can be such a pain when shopping for nice clothes :(
